Hello From Tanzania, We are experiencing difficulties with communication on both the internet and the blog.
Today we have spent our second day in Niamjema school. We have been travelling by Bud-judges to the school.
Already we have witnessed many scenes of poverty and the change in culture. We are all having an amazing time and we will be in touch on a individual basis very soon.
Hi all. Today was spent in Nianjema School where we taught some drama, planted trees, taught students how to use the GPS system to mark out a trail, worked on local recipes cooking on an open fire and worked with the junior school children. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves from both schools and we made many friends that hopefully we will keep in touch with.
Happy in Tanzania, Becca and all south of the equator!
Jambo Leslie and UCC adventurers. You'll be glad to know it's been raining so hard here for days that some villages have flooded! In July! You need to "Sign In" to the blog to add a new post. John has the username and password. Then click on "new post". From your new post you can upload images too. Rob x
Leslie, I have also sent the username and password to your email address. So have a go at signing in and starting a new post. Would love to see some photos. Might pop down to Booths tonight and get a Tusker or two for old times sake. Not the same without the haggling for a "special price" though. It's the end of the school day here and certainly feels like "Kili Time"! Thinking of you all, hope you have a Netball rematch too! Love Rob x
